Bio

Lucy Robinson brings a diverse background and deep community ties to her legal practice. After graduating from Camden High School in 2005, she earned her degree from Presbyterian College in 2009, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2012.

Since then, Lucy has built a well-rounded career serving othersโ€”as a nonprofit professional, public educator, and most recently as a public defender in South Carolinaโ€™s Fifth Judicial Circuit. She has extensive courtroom experience representing clients accused of a wide range of offenses, including domestic violence, drug charges, DUIs, and violent felonies. Her practice spans General Sessions, Magistrate, Municipal, and Family Court, and she brings a dedicated, client-centered approach to every case.

Lucy is licensed to practice law in both South Carolina and North Carolina. She is a past President of the Kershaw County Bar Association and currently serves on the South Carolina Barโ€™s Law Related Education and Lawyers Helping Lawyers Committees. She also enjoys volunteering as a judge for the South Carolina Barโ€™s mock trial program.

A strong supporter of the arts and local education, Lucy serves on the board of the Arts Center of Kershaw Countyโ€”chairing the Events and Fundraising Committeeโ€”and is a member of the Camden Elementary Partners and the Camden High School Bulldog Club. She and her family are also active members of Grace Episcopal Church in Camden.

Outside of the office, Lucy enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, exploring all that Camden has to offer.
